I have spent more than 30 years serving families in South Minneapolis, creating programs that strengthen our community. My work includes developing youth soccer leagues, organizing community events such as the Mexican Independence Day celebration, and helping build family, youth, and early‑learning programs that continue to support local families. I have dedicated my career to walking alongside immigrant families as an advocate, bridge‑builder, and connector, helping them feel seen, supported, and empowered. Today I serve at Hope Academy as a School Support Specialist, where I continue to advocate for students and guide families as they navigate their educational journey with dignity and confidence.
