Hike & Learn en Lake Harriet

Únete a Huellas Latinas para disfrutar de nuestro Hike & Learn program el cual, busca crear una comunidad empoderada y comprometida con las actividades al aire libre, el ambiente y la ciudad de Minneapolis. Las actividades son para toda la familia y están orientadas a disminuir las barreras y acercar a las familias latinas y sus aliados, a los beneficios de las actividades al aire libre, la navegación en el sistema de parques y trails así como a las diferentes formas de conexión con la Naturaleza. El programa está enfocado en reforzar las conexiones con los distintos parques de la ciudad de Minneapolis y la comunidad, elevar el sentido de pertenencia con la ciudad, fortalecer los vínculos familiares al tiempo que promovemos un estilo de vida más saludable a través de la realización de actividades al aire libre. Esta es la última de cinco actividades.

Parking: estacionar en la calle / estacionamiento con fee
Millas: estaremos caminando apróximadamente 3 millas
Tiempo estimado: la caminata tendrá un tiempo estimado de 2 horas
Nivel de dificultad: fácil – trail pavimentado
Niños: Si.
Mascotas: Sí, con leash.

Join Huellas Latinas to enjoy our Hike & Learn program which seeks to create an empowered community committed to outdoor activities, the environment and the city of Minneapolis. The activities are for the whole family and are aimed at reducing barriers and bringing Latino families and their allies closer to the benefits of outdoor activities, navigation in the park and trail system as well as different forms of connection with Nature. The program is focused on reinforcing connections with the different parks in the city of Minneapolis and the community, increasing the sense of belonging with the city, strengthening family ties while promoting a healthier lifestyle through carrying out outdoor activities. This is the last of five activities.

Time: 1:00 PM – Please be punctual
Where: Lake Harriet – 4135 W Lake Harriet Pkwy, Mpls, MN 55409
Parking: on the street / parking with fee
Miles: we will be walking approximately 3 miles
Estimated time: the walk will have an estimated time of 2 hours
Difficulty level: easy – paved trail.
Children: Yes.
 Pets: Yes, with leash.

 Wear clothes suitable for the weather and bring hydration.

• ATTENTION: Only one family member should register and indicate how many people will accompany you in the activity.
• NOTE: This registration closes on Saturday,  March 9th at 4:30 PM. Then we will contact you for the final details of the activity.
• CANCELLATION: This event could be canceled in the morning of the same day of the event depending on weather conditions or other unforeseen events.
